Each tuft of carefully selected boar bristle is reinforced with specially rounded nylon strands. The nylon strands are longer than the boar bristles and penetrate through the hair to massage and stimulate the scalp. By adding a single nylon bristle to each pure boar bristle tuft, these brushes bring the benefits of boar bristle to those with thicker hair.
